Rainy Day Garden Crafts

After all the beautiful weather we’ve had this Fall, the storms rolling in this week can make a gardener go a little stir crazy. We thought we’d share a few garden crafts you can work on inside, while the rain keeps you from going outside.

Add a little personality to your garden with these colorful, easy-to-make plant markers. Enlist the help of your little ones to find the perfect rocks - they do love finding pretty rocks don't they? Let them paint the backgrounds too! For complete instructions, follow this link.

As the daylight hours wane, you can brighten the nights with these beautiful sun jars. By using readily available solar cells, these lanterns charge by day and glow by night. You choose the color scheme to brighten your outdoor environment. Your imagination might suggest a path of orange lanterns that guide Trick-or-Treaters to your door. Or perhaps Santa might like a row of red and green runway lights to guide a safe landing for his sled.

We invite you to post your projects on our Facebook page.

And come craft with us Nov. 1st at our Holiday Card Making Workshop.
